My First Try At Flowers

The weather was beautiful as I headed for The Portland Botanical Gardens this morning. I haven't photographed a lot of flowers but thought I'd give it a go. I'm pleased with the results. Have I mentioned I love Nikon cameras?

Re: My First Try At Flowers

Hi Bob, Nice pics...especially if I am honest and say I don't have much enthusiasm for flowers. Lots of strong colour ('color' just for you!), contrast...and yes, they are on a Nikon (hooray!). I noticed a small blemish in the top left of the first pic...might be worth removing that otherwise excellent. Are these with the kit lens 18-55?

Yes, they are with my 18-55 set to macro & using only a UV filter. I'll check that blemish - Thanks.
