For The Love Of All Things Wood
The back porch of Camp 18, a coverted logging camp near Seaside, OR, has stood the test of time. Made of huge hewn logs it's timbers support a structure created by men who knew how to work with wood. The texture & color of the wood beckoned for me to sit under its protective canopy. The feel of the wooden benches, massive by any comparison, gave the distinct feeling of security & support.
