After the rain

Well I decided it was time I tried taking pics of something other than my dogs and the rain aftermath seemed as good a subject as any.

The first pic is just to show how soggy the horses paddock was - several ducks appeared but I only managed to get a blurry pic of one of them before they were spooked, and this one is a reference point for the third pic below
The water was several inches deep in the middle of it

on the way to it I decided to try for a pic of the water droplets on the grass

and in the middle of the huge puddle I found this - a little buttercup refusing to give in to the deluge even though submerged with the petals just under the surface of the water

Sorry they are not super shots, [ and the first one is only to show how big an area I spotted the buttercup in ], I`m no photographer, they are just `as is` from my little digital camera which has functions I still have yet to fathom so these are just on Auto and I did`nt have my contact lenses in so it was literally point and hope anyway
