Re: Bluebell & Friends

I really like the first three, the second looks like it could be Herb Robert? But I'm not at all good with plants!

Re: Bluebell & Friends

The first is a Spanish bluebell, not English.

The second is a common bindweed.

Third is a ragwort, I believe. ( I am open to suggestions on this one, but it is definitely a wort of some kind).

The fourth I don't know, but I would think it of the gorse family.

The last looks like a Buttercup to me, but could be a Celendine; difficult to tell with the flower not open.

Re: Bluebell & Friends

Thank Laura and thanks Jeff for the flower IDs.
Lots of Worts, i would not even know where to start looking to try and ID this one.
The 4th yes possibly of the gorse family, so many species again though hard to tell.

The last yellow flower i have come across a lot of times thinking it was Buttercup, but a friend of mine i was with one week says not. It certainly looks like one when its open.

Re: Bluebell & Friends

Thanks Jeff. That one i came across online. Very hard to tell even when i look at noth Buttercup and Celandine online. The leaves in my image look different than both them, not sure how many species of each of those flowers there are though.

Here is an image with the flower more open.

Number 4 is something a friend told me about only yesterday - it's some sort of trefoil, but I cannot remember what!
