Sparrowhawk

These shots were taken through the double glazed window. It was on the fence for a good 10 minutes and only left when I disturbed trying to get a shot of it from outdoors. The photos were taken about 7.40 p.m. with cloud cover.

Well spotted.

I had one out the back the other day weighing up the birds on my feeders whilst one of my cats was weighing it up.

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera to hand so had to resort to shooting it with the hosepipe LOL

I think it was hovering near a nest Phil, it made one abortive foray into the vegetation.
