Wind turbine at dusk

After going to a country park with my Grandson, we was heading back to the car when I notice a nice blue winters sky at dusk. With the small wind turbine and trees darkened by light I thought it might make a good shot.

I was trying to get the shot and portray the cold winter sky, but I'm not sure I've managed that?

I like the shot (obviously, or I wouldn't post it lol) but would like to know any tips how you get a cold winter evening to come out on a picture?...... without someone standing there with a hat, gloves, and a scarf on

Thanks Ken. It was a bit nippy yesterday evening.

Sky is perfect Dave, lovely cold blue. Maybe a couple of penguins in your image may give it a feel of Winter.

Re: Wind turbine at dusk

No being serious for a few seconds, wait until its further into Winter and cold enough that frost stays on the trees throughout the day and wait for another sky like this one And a bit less sky and more ground......

Re: Wind turbine at dusk

You don't make it easy for me Mark

I can't go any lower or cars will be in the shot. The wind turbine is in the middle of a car park.
And to get a sky and clouds like that again, I could be waiting a looooong time.

Also, far to cold for penguins last night
