Re: Some little boats

Jols..I love boats and that pic is so clear I can smell the ozone.

Not sure about the crop though as the boats left and right are quite harshly clipped and I want to see more of the centre.

Re: Some little boats

I know exactly what you mean but there are so many little boats on the sand where ever I crop would of resulted in the same thing.

Maybe I will return there in the week and tackle it from a different angle.

thanks for your thoughts.

Re: Some little boats

I know that feeling jols..I get to a Marina and think 'boats' and then start framing them up and there's always bits and bobs in the shotbecause they are so crammed together..which ( annoyingly!) is what makes them appealing in the first place. lol

I reckon they should be taught how to park the damn things for optimum togging opportunities.

Re: Some little boats

Highlights controlled, pleasant view, would be tempted to rotate about one or two degrees clockwise as the sea horizon looks slightly off to me, and the boat masts. I'd also crop about 10% from the bottom edge...slightly less foreground and take out the twigs and what I think is a diagonal shadow.
