Kincardine Bridge

Two different takes on Kincardine Bridge

Above and Below by Sharon Reid2010, on Flickr

I wanted the graffitied underbelly to juxtapose with the grandeur above.

Kincardine Bridge by Sharon Reid2010, on Flickr

A cooler more tranquil shot.

Re: Kincardine Bridge

Thanks Goggs.

Must have been some sight with the engine working..it's such an ugly and yet beautiful bridge all in one.

Re: Kincardine Bridge

Great shots Daisy - lovely composition.

It is a fantastic bridge - very '1930s' - I always think it has a kind of dark and sinister feel to it.

It doesn't have the charm of our other Scottish bridges Phil..and now it has to look at it's sleek silvery sister just up the estuary.

It is very 'war bunker'

Re: Kincardine Bridge

I have a thing for bridges Daisy so this is really an appealing shot to me. Love the perspective as well as the great depth of field. I understand why the graffiti should be kept in the photo but it boils my blood to see children deface property. We have more than our share of this occurring all over the United States. Nice captures.
