A good caprure, but where in Leeds is this?

Hi Karl, This was taken from the steps of the City Museum (Former Mechanics Institute) looking half right across Millennium Square. I have cloned out the top of one of the towers of the Civic Hall which was peeking out above the roof line.

Hi Nikosnap, you picked a great building a very interesting piece of architecture. For some reason the framing doesn't quite sit right with me, but without knowing what lays outside the frame of the picture it's difficult to say how I would have done it any different. Also the stack of galvanised fencing could do with cloning out.

I think this is a subject well worth revisiting, also I would imagine it would look good at dusk with the lights on.

and now for something completely different........

I like both the color and B&W versions you posted. The color version looks a bit flat and may need a levels adjustment to add more contrast & pop. Nice shot!
