Very nice. If I can be picky, I´d say it´s a shame to crop the orchids on the right, where they are sharp and in focus. I´d better sacrifice a bit of the blurred ones in the background Or zoom out a tiny bit.

Re: Nature

Not qualified to comment on the skills involved, can only comment on my gut response.

1/ Like the leaf on the left but not the blob on the right, find the complementary colours of the blue and orange very pleasing.

2/ Lovely colour but otherwise does not do a lot for me

3/ This is a pleasing viewing experience to me, I feel any moment the wind will catch it and it will gently move.

4/ Not to my taste, too in your face.

5/ Love the way you have caught the berries they are almost translucent, the twigs deprived of leaf or fruit worry me a bit.

6/ The subject is very pleasing but I am mentally cropping it to lose a little of the right hand side.

Hope I am allowed to comment like this, (too many dog critiques )they are just the way I see them and would be more than happy to have 1 & 3 on my walls

Re: Nature

You're welcome

Might be worth posting new pics in a new thread though, as often people don't revisit a thread once they've replied in it..

Re: Nature

Yep - definitely new thread for new pics, best way for people to see them

When you post in a thread, a 'tick' appears in the icon next to it - that let's people know which threads they've posted in/commented on and which ones they haven't The first thing I look for when searching new posts is whether I have replied or not in the threads
