River Braan - waterfall tips?

Been sorting through some old images and came accross these although I suspect one or two may have been on a post of mine ages ago.

I was happy with the first two so I'm posting them here for crit although (being just up the road and somewhere I can go quite easily) I'm looking for any suggestions on how to improve on them or what I can do different next time. Any waterfall tips welcome really.

Struggled a bit with these ones.

The water was getting over exposed but if I went any quicker the rest was too dark.

I couldn't find a way of getting the the shot to fit in the frame. I guess that's a lens / camera thing though.

Hey Phil, I think part of taking waterfall pics is imagining how the shot would look with the water at your desired shutter speed.

I think it's harder in a colder climate as I'm not keen on all the moss - the colour just isn't that pleasant to me. not sure if anyone else feels the same way tho :-/

To me #3 has the most potential. Always use a tripod if possible because if you want to blur the motion of the water your shutter speeds must be very slow. You don't need to capture the whole falls. Interesting rock formations or water movement demands tighter cropping. # 3 could use a tighter crop of the left side of the photo. You are truly blessed to have this beauty so close to home. I have 7 falls within 50 miles of my apartment and wish they were outside my back door.
