From today at the Zoo. Pleased to see some improvements there (Dudley) one thing that prompted a revisit.

I know those beaks are designed for drinking upside down - but they are ugly buggers.
Still - I bet they never get hiccups.

Thanks all.
Dudley was awful MS, but heard of a few improvements so went to check them out. they have a decent new Lynx enclosure, but its through glass, so not easy to photograph through. A lot of work to be done there, but some definate improvements.

And I love the fact that you've posted this image on it's own.
There is a temptation to quickly whiz through a post if it has a lot of images in it, whereas with this...we HAVE to take our time with it, and appreciate it to the full.
That eye completely draws you in...I love it.
It's one of the better bird photographs I've seen on YoP so far
