My attempts at Birds of Prey

Not sure whether this should be here or in general stuff but here goes - here are some of my birds of prey shots. I don't have a tripod and we were in the middle of a field with no posts or trees or fences etc so nothing to steady the camera. I didn't get any inflight shots way wya wya too fast for me LOL

Zag the Kestrel

Louise the Barn Owl

Acreech the Harris Hawk

Very blurred

Otis the Eagle Owl

Amber the EAgle Owl

Actually flying the birds

I am really happy with a couple of the shots but wish I could take better pics!

I like 4 & 5 - there really is something special about BoP isn't there.

Practice makes perfect as they say.....its a great excuse to go and watch them again....and again...

Re: My attempts at Birds of Prey

Thank you I guess I just have to find some decent editing software so I can alter some of the pics like remove the antlers from the shed that look like they are growing out of the BoPs head.

It was an amazing experience though really fantastic

Hey Hello you - how you doing?. it was at Cupar Deer Farm if you know anyone who likes BoP then its excellent value for money. Or maybe it was just because we were the only ones there so we got an excellent experience. And The Village Inn at Pitlessie for lunch after was just the tonic!

Some of those shots are really good but where there is movement your camera, not you, just cannot handle. This, and I am glad you put them up, really shows compact camera limitations for those that swear by them.
