Sepia Samnooshka

Took this last November, but forgot i had taken it until i was clearing out some space on the mac.

That's wonderful Sam... the eyes are a bit *too* intense perhaps - I think it could be the white shine on them?

In any case, I love it! Sepia tones work really well too.

Yep they are my eyes and pretty much unprocessed, just sharpened a little

I can't remember what i did to take this shot (light set up etc) but think i had the soft box up too bright as i have washed out the highlights a little which is a shame... still hopefully my job list will get smaller again soon so that i can take some more

I like the pic, eyes themselves are fine - its the softbox that you can see in the eyes that throw them off slightly, can you photoshop them out so its just your eyes that we see? Then it would be lovely!

I like the photo for it's use of a monochrome color. The fading vignette frame is attractive. Composition is great. Try running the photo through a noise filter like Noiseware and you'll see the pronounced skin texture in the original soften and smooth.

That's exactly what it is Lorna - I couldn't put my finger on what was bothering me - it's the softbox in the eyes!
