Penshaw Monument

Couple from Penshaw Monument.

Penshaw Monument stands on the top of Penshaw Hill on the outskirts of Sunderland. It can be seen for miles around and is one of the Northeast's best known landmarks. It was built in 1844 in honour of John George Lambton, the first Earl of Durham who was known locally as "Radical Jack" Lambton

Re: Penshaw Monument

Very nice Manguish! It reminds me of a bit in 'Clash of the Titans'

LM - that effect is usually done by a process called HDR:

Nikon 55-200mm VR

Re: Penshaw Monument

Nice HDR work, not to mention the composition of the shot.
Love it.

Although I would invest in a cloth to clean that lens, lol it's filthy!

Very nice. I think you could get a nice b&w of that too.

Those specs are a shame - is it on the lens on the sensor ?

Re: Penshaw Monument

Really like the second one, nice angle

It is a shame about the dust, with some patience you could remove them in Post processing
