Re: fireworks tips wanted !

1. Set your camera on a tripod - longer shutter speeds are used so a tripod is a must.

2. Set aperture between or on F/8 - F/16

3. Turn off auto focus - manually focus into the distance (or whereabouts the fire works are likely to go off) - you will need some practice shots

4. Set the sutter speed for around 4 secs - can be adjusted later if needed

5. Now your set up, simply press the shutter release when you here the next thump of the motar. Try to keep the shutter open for the full release of the firework

TIP: Use daylight WB

Hope your putting all this down in your notebook CL

Re: fireworks tips wanted !

I used my little Canon Powershot for Fireworks and I used an ISO of 100 and a low exposure of -2 while in Program mode.

Re: fireworks tips wanted !

Another tip, when doing long exposures either use a remote or use the time delay on the shutter to stop any camera shake when you press the shutter.
