Re: Trip in the field

I think it's great, H! I really like the composition, the angle its taken, the way the background frames his head. And of course it's Trip, always a pleasure.
His nose looks sharp, not so sure about his eye - maybe increase the DoF?

You know who I'm going to ask for next??!

Re: Trip in the field

Firstly, I think it's great however, to improve perhaps try to shoot against a blank sky, the tree could be a little distracting to some, it doesn't bother me much though. I have to say the football takes my eye away from Trip, which is a shame - so perhaps clone that out? Also, the collar is very bright (love it! ) and attracts the eye - so perhaps cloning that or desaturating it a lot?

Just some suggestions, however, I love this one!
xx

ETA - agree with Samwise - next time really focus on the eyes!

Re: Trip in the field

The football keeps attracting my attention and the collar, but, think this is one of the nicest shots I have seen of Her Royal Highness

She looks almost sedate and wise, it is a lovely portrait Hannah xx
