There is a girl in the house
I have 4 kids - 3 boys and then a little girl.
After years of just having dull, boring trainers in the hallway, it is rather refreshing to have yummy pink shoes in there now.

What an excellent example of being able to take something as 'uninteresting' as a pair of dirty ol shoes and creating a great photograph!

Great shot Emma.
Nice depth of focus and I like the way the light falls mainly on the pink boots - almost underlining the point you're making.
A great example of the picture telling a story - even without the description you've given - I'd 'get it'.

I was worried it would look a bit contrived - though I tried to make it look as natural as possible.
She has just about outgrown those gloriously pink shoes so they needed photographing before being passed on!
