A lucky snap
It's that time of year for the air display team to whizz about our house catching the midges.
Some of you guys take amazing bird shots and whilst I'm not up to that standard I was more than happy to capture this one as these guys are so fast and unpredictable :confused

I think it's good - I know how hard they are to snap in flight - I've failed so far!

Well done, it is a Swallow? as I always get Swifts and Swallows muddled, one has a pointier tail, and is bigger?

I'm not a 'little' bird expert. Swallows have red cheeks.

You get Sand Martins round here as well, just to add another one to the Hirundine ID list, if they didn't already look similar enough in flight already!
