Moon shot
I love my Tamron 
Tried getting moon shots with my first compact, a Canon Powershot A10 - always got a tiny white blur
Tried getting moon shots with my second compact, a Kodak Easyshare - always got a tiny white blur
Tried getting moon shots with my third compact, a Technika - always got a tiny white blur
Tried getting moon shots with my slr D40 and the dead 18-55 lens - always got a slightly bigger white blur
then.......
Tried getting moon shots with my slr D40 and my new Tamron 70-300 lens - at last - I got shadows and craters
Can`t wait to try again with a tripod so I can try a longer shutter speed and to utilise any offered tips to get it better, but in the meantime hand held like this one will have to do - I admit to being really chuffed with this one rightly or not simply because it`s the most detailed moon shot I`ve managed so far but any help to improve on it is most appreciated as always

Kit 1 Nikon D40 lens has packed in after only a couple of months, Bennetts so far refuse to replace it dead kapputt fallen apart Nikon 18-55mm Tamron AF 70-300 |
