Have to be honest, don't really like this PE. It's not so much the pose but with a shot like this it is all about detail and being precise for me. I am drawn to unpleasant detail like the dirt in the fingernails and overall it is looks just too soft with too shallow a depth of field. I think it needs a bit of punch in PP later. Sorry. I think it's a great idea somehow hasn't come together in the execution.

I like the composition, but I can see where BC is coming from - the bleached highlights don't do it any favours I'm afraid. It's a good try though, and the composition is grand.

Like the idea and the composition but find the eye is drawn to the finger nails and once that has happened the shot looses it's impact.

Thanks for the comments! It was really a bit of fun, as he was not meant to be playing the guitar, Graham mentioned the fact he still had half the garden in his nails, never mind, I will keep on practicing!

Its an intresting shot but is a little flat in the lighting and contast area
