Out of that comfort zone again!!
Another shot from the trip to Lacock....I just liked the way the flowers and red bricks stood out from the grey stonework. The old cartwheel struck me as a nice thing to include as well.
Feel free to tell me it just looks like a holiday shot and I should stick to Wildlife
I have no confidence in my landscape ability whatsoever!!

I think it's rather nice, lovely detail and pin sharp. It's perhaps got a bit much going on? I think that's my main problem too! On the whole Ithink it's a very pleasing image though - and I love the wheel!

Personally I like it, and can see loads of potential, the only major niggle it that tiny bit of white in the top right corner , is a bit distracting, I would be tempted to crop it off, and maybe a bit of the bottom too xxx

I do love my 17-55 lens!! It's definitely the sharpest of the bunch

Think that there is nothing wrong with what you have done, crisp and well composed, I too wondered about the sky and indeed the roof because they were not really part of what you taking, think I may have tried a landscape shot and cut out the roof and some of the ground altogether.
Like you I am beginning to look at landscapes and have just acquired a 18 - 55mm lens. It is difficult because it is not what you or I are used to. But I think you are on the right track and I have taken a good deal worse than that.

Nice image and very pleasant but needs a little more PP in my opinion. I'd crop down the roof to lose the white. I'd up the detail a little in the shadow areas of the plant containers and dampen dampen down the brilliant white of the window frame. Also lose the reflection in the smaller pane. Small stuff but I think it would help the image.
Nice picture, the 17-55mm is excellent, big and heavy but great quality, sharp and contrasty. I would love one but being a pauper and Jack Daniels to buy...
