Can you remember ?
My image filing system is pretty chaotic and I came across this while searching for something else. Thought it might jog a few memories for UK members. It's a bit out of focus, the result of my haste to grab the shot. Know the face? but can you remember his name. He has had a lot of TV coverage. Clue.... this was shot at a "Fly In" at a local airfield.

That last time I saw him he was in not such a fit state. Even so, it's an expensive price to pay to become a 'media hero'.

I wasn't suggesting for a second he 'chose' to be a media hero - although he will be the first to agree that he is making an extremely good living from it; thank you very much!
I just didn't think it necessary to explain that he recognised the potential arising from his experiences as an unfortunate victim of circumstances.

What really annoys me is that some of them (not nesc this guy) think just because they have been through something like that it makes them sort of authority on international matters, appearing on political shows and what not (that 'burnt' guy springs to mind). It does not.
