Re: Does this work?

Interesting effect - but I'm not sure it works for me - I love the PP on the parts of the picture that aren't the car though - a whole picture like that would be ace IMO

Perhaps, if instead of taking a fairly wide birth around the car, you painstakingly made sure that *only* the car was a 'straight' photo - then it would be more striking?

Re: Does this work?

The effect does not work for me either, like the pencil drawing effect but in this case it adds nothing to the shot, well it does not for me. The building look interesting and I would have preferred to have a straightforward shot of the street and it's skyline.

Re: Does this work?

Looks to have possibilities, may work a little better with a bigger more gradual change from real to drawn effect?

Re: Does this work?

The isolation appears a bit harsh... I would brush in from an edge, possibly top right and brush down to bottom left diagonally - this would serve to tie the car into the image/background rather than isolate it from the rest of the picture in the way you have.

Re: Does this work?

Don't know if it works or not, will have to wind it up, if I can find the key.

Actually I do like it, maybe because of the two elements of line drawing and photo combined also the angle it is shown at.

Re: Does this work?

I really like it and I have a similar shot also taken while sitting in gridlock. I will play with it and post it up for some comment as well. Isn't it great how one shot stimulates another?
