When white balance goes bad
Sorting through old pics so Dogsey folk may have seen these before...
A couple of doggy shots that went wrong but I actually quite like.
The white balance is all wrong on the Skye pics - note the obvious yellow whites but somehow I liked the almost antique painting effect it created which I think suits a sight hound by the fire.
WB better but the same goes for a very sleepy Fingal

I too love this series Phil. The first shot intrigued me so I had a go at trying to improve upon it.

I love them Phil - I also like Bob's edit, but I think the colour the originals are is excellent too - whether it was intentional or not!

I have a similar edit Bob. I know my WB example is extreme but it just goes to show how much the white can be affected.

Love them Phil, think the Spaniel image just requires a gun in the shot to complete the picture and perhaps a brace of birds, it already has the Barbour.
Somehow because the brain would expect the glow of a fire to be reflected the WB does not seem out of place and may even enhance.
