I was going to say something similar to Azz.
The tint gives the photo a cold feel which is in keeping the subject.
Perhaps could be framed differently but yes it works.

Agree with Phil - a different framing could give it more punch - I would personally cut a bit off the left. May have had a bit more impact to see either all of the dog, or just the head - but I do love the icy feel to it - and the doggy is gorgeous!
