It is a nice shot, but the background is vaguely distracting, and I find that the flower having a few petals missing makes my eye jump about a bit. It's a good shot though, and there's a fair bit to work with. I do like the effect of the white flowers with the red one though, they set the colours off nicely!

Its a very good shot, but agree with Z about the back ground! I don't mind the missing petals, it looks like they have just been blown off in the wind!

The red is good, sometimes difficult to capture, but yes, background a bit distracting although the dof is good, may be the choice of lens or perhaps a narrower dof still.
I would have PPd it so the background was darker and less distracting but I know you don't do any processing.

Nice shot, bit small to assess properly. I like the idea, good depth of field control but background has too heavy and distinctive shape and colours to ignore. The red in the bottom left also draws the eye. However, that's being critical with intent to help,but don't lose sight of the fact that overall it's just a nice shot.
