Fourth of July

Had my first fourth of July, had a brilliant time , ate and drank too much, went to watch a battle then went to a picnic, and fireworks, so had a really good time

Who won?

Is that 10-20 new too? Can't remember seeing that in your sig either.

Oh, very nice pics, I have been processing my pictures with similar tones for a while now and love the muted colours.

Some excellent photos Suzi - I love them all - and the PP is superb! I particularly like number 2 though - pleasing image, even with that sense of menace!

Re: Fourth of July

Thanks for the comments xxx

BC- I have been waiting for my 10-20, ordered it at the same time but it was back ordered. (Now saving for an 85 and 35 mm).
Haven't had a real good go with it yet, but will take it somewhere soon

Though I like the originals, they looked weird at the same time, look better in more muted tones.

Yep, you're right. I just have a 35mm f2! I am overloaded with lenses right now but I have been acquiring stuff ready for a full frame. However, I'm not sure that is a definate as I am reading loads about it being fussy on lenses and hence it opens up a lot more expense to get the best from it. The 35mm and 85 are really nice though.
