Aleksander - Fs Nosepress



Aleksander Aasgaarden Fs Nosepressing this long sweet rail at Voldsloekka just outside Oslo, Norway.

Nikon D700 with 50 f/1.4.

Elinchrom Ranger to the right, and Vivitar 285 and Nikon SB-800 to the left behind him on boths sides.

Really find that black line accross the photo very distracting I'm afraid... Think also this is a bit far away to have any real impact...

Yeah that black line is a bit distracting, but I don't think it's too far away. If I had gone closer, you wouldn't get the whole rail in the frame, and it's an absolutely must in action sports photography to get the whole obstacle in the shot.

I think there are too many distractions in the foreground too. But if they were intentional, i.e. where you wanted to portray a feel of being watched, then it'd be spot on.

Everything in the foreground are intentional except that black line. Should have removed that before I took the shot. But the rest is suppose to make some kind of frame as well as add some depth to the shot.
