Puffins revisited!
Hi all, sorry I've been absent for the past week, have just had a bit too much on (namely housefuls of visitors!) so will try and catch up and comment on as much as possible once I've got the place to myself again.
Went back to Skomer again today in hope of getting a classic "puffin with beak full of sandeels" shot....let's just say it didn't disappoint!
They'll all be off back out to the Atlantic within the next couple of weeks, so this was my last chance, and I'm dead pleased that they co-operated this time I know the flight shots are a wee bit noisy, but I didn't have much choice but to crank up the ISO as it was a cloudy day....the lack of bright sunlight definitely made the exposure a lot simpler for portrait shots though.
