A lovely trip to Wales yesterday..

Had a lovely day out yesterday, long but really nice. Steve took his dog and I took Breeze and Orey. We went to Aberyswyth to begin with, for a trip on the Rheidol Railway, to Devils Bridge.

Our Transport!

Was a lovely trip with some stunning views, the weather was dry but a bit cloudy at times.

Once at Devils Bridge, we walked to the "3 bridges" which are really something. Each bridge on top of eachother, the earliest though to be built in the 11-13th century.

After a walk round and a coffee, we came back to Aberyswyth.

The sea front at Aberyswyth.

We then went north to our old haunt "Black Rock Sands" in Porthmadog, we spent the afternoon there and had a fabulous time. Warm air, happy dogs!!

Breeze.

Orey.

Me and the 3 pooches walking oblivious!!

The weather was very varied BC, white cloud all over then black, by the time we got to the coast we had a few fairly sunny spells as you can see, but inland was very different.

Thanks Snapper, actually I only took 12 photos all day! I saw Wales with my eyes for the firt time in years, rather than through a viewfinder! Just 2 of those pictures were taken with my camera.

Re: A lovely trip to Wales yesterday..

Thanks Azz, we weren't let down, it was dry, only a few spots at one point (at Devils Bridge) and the afternoon on the beach was lovely. We had a static caravan in North Wales for many years we are "welsh weather accustomed!!" I love the place, Wales is beautiful.
