Balloon Ride

Always fancied a balloon ride.

This one comes over our house quite often. It always creeps up & scares the living daylights out of me.

My hounds would go mad if that came over us, but it gives you a photographic opportunity.

Like the first but the second has more about it, think it is the colour and the angle that is unusual and interesting.

Thanks Snapper - My dogs bark at them too.

The first had a levels adjustment on the balloon and then on the sky whilst the second is heavily photoshopped.

Think our job is to produce an eye catching image if that requires heavy photoshop then so be it, I can remember spending what seemed like hours waving a hand over a developing print to get the effect I required in the days of smelly dark rooms and no one thought that odd so why should we think the use of photoshop to not be part of the photographic process.

I like the result you have achieved and it is the end result that counts.

300mm lens but it was very low - lower than normal anyway.
