Shrewsbury House

Just thought the blues complimented each other when I saw this image in my eye.

Re: Shrewsbury House

I like it a lot - interesting angle and composition, and yes, the colours work very well together. The only little thing I would suggest is to clone the little wisps of cloud out - to make it even more striking perhaps? But in any case it's superb.

NO - they were there! I like them and want them to remain.

A lot is said on this forum about PP work , adding things, removing things, bending rules... of course we could all do that, cut and paste - add, detract, fool the viewer, fool ourselves - but that's not photography - that's digital manipulation. Strangley enough I prefer to concentrate on the most important things like the technical aspects, composition, framing, lighting, exposure, etc.... PP is secondary to that and is simply an aid to enhanced appropriately.

Re: Shrewsbury House

And that's fair enough... it was merely a suggestion!

Re: Shrewsbury House

I think Z is striving for a 'perfect image' (in her mind) whereas sometimes a perfect image actually needs some imperfection and an organic feel about it.

Different strokes for different folks guys - life would be boring if we all thought the same.
