I like it a lot - though I'd like to see it slightly desaturated - as for me it's a bit colourful! I do think it's a very striking image though, and like it a lot!

No, I like the colours too - but the church looks unnatural to me, as that bit is a bit vibrant?

Zoundz - you are obviously unfamiliar with Shropshire! It is famed for its naturally VIBRANT red sandstone. Whole villages are made from the stuff.

Yes, I am unfamiliar with Shropshire! I must visit - I've never seen buildings that 'Tango' in colour before!

I thought the church was quite orange too, but put it down to being on a new computer which I just calibrated myself manually (although I'm usually pretty good at it). However I still like the image.
What colour settings did you use JR? The D300 can add quite a bit of saturation in some of it's modes.
Another reason why it could seem highly saturated on our Monitors Z, is if they have a higher color gamut - which monitor do you own?

Not sure to be honest! Probably not a great one, it's an AGM monitor... All I can go on is how other photos look on here I guess :/ As I said, I liked the image, I just thought the church was too pinky orange - but if it's that colour in real life, then I'm sorry!

lovely image jack ! went to shropshire a months ago and found it a stunning place with old red bricks houses in the countryside , beautiful unlike red houses we see here which i hate lol
