Took this a while back
Took this one a while back before my new Nikon lens packed in, was fairly pleased with it at the time, won`t be able to get anything like this on my compact and there probably won`t be any flowers around by the time/if the D40 ever gets sorted so might as well post it I suppose

I agree with Azz Patch, that's the best photo you've posted to date. I love the very soft pastel colors, the exacting control of depth of field, perfect exposure and sharp focus on the central buds. Well done!
