FinePix Z33WP

I've been looking for a new P&S for general family use so will be used in all weathers and places by the kids mostly.

I quite like the finepix Z33WP. Has anyone got any experience of them?

Sorry I know nothing about them but they seem to have a good name, most of the P & S cameras do a good job so it is a case of is it comfortable in your hand and can you view both the view finder and the screen with easy and of course is it within the range of your pocket.

Re: FinePix Z33WP

I think they are about £150. What made me look twice was the fact that it would be an all weather camera so ideal for being out and about in the rain and it will be slobber proof

One thing I would take ages getting used to would be the fact that it does not have a view finder you only have the screen.

I think I might go and have a look at it this week and see if I like it

Re: FinePix Z33WP

Well for me that would make it a no no, in bright weather it can be impossible to see the screen no matter what filters or screens you have for it, I would not consider a camera without a viewfinder however good it was otherwise.

Mind you because one is made there must be plenty of people who are happy to only have a screen so I suppose in most cases it may work ok, but no, not for me but then it is not me buying it.

When I had my old P&S I never used the view finder so hopefully it won't be missed that much. A lot of the new cameras don't seem to have them either
