D300 to be discontinued soon?
Nikon Store in Sweden is no longer showing the D300 or D60, so their current line up is :
So a clear gap between the D90 and D700, and is the D5000 now really their entry model? Or should we expect a D1000 anytime soon?
Either way I wish they'd hurry up with the D400 or D700x !!

I just hope a D400 or D700x comes out real soon, I miss not being able to go out an about and while the D40 is great it just doesn't feel the same anymore

I'm getting tired of my kits being obsolete in under two years. My D40X is now a white elephant.

But isn't the advancement in technology exciting Bob? Just look at the ISO performance on your D90, compared to the D40

Technology is fine to the point that it is useful, ISO, will we find cameras with 12800 and if so what for surely 6400 is enough for anyone. I rarely have use for anything above 400 and if I do 1600 is plenty. What is this urge to take shots in the dark?
