Charity Gig - Mr Kyps - Poole, Dorset.

After working alongside Jim Cregan for the work with songwriter Charlie Hole, it was only a natural progression to see charlie sing. We were invited along to a charity event at Mr Kyps, a music venue based in Poole.

Jim Cregan also played an acoustic set which was his first solo set in 40 years! what an honour.

Here are three photos (so far) that I've deemed of reasonable quality to show to the world.

This is my first attempt at live music photography, but HOPEFULLY I've managed to use all the technical knowledge I've learned to use the right technique in these shots.

Think they are good, in fact they are as good as most I have seen. You have used the lighting available to you with skill and presented the viewer with the feel of the event you can almost hear.

Yup, He played the song "make me smile" alongside Robert Hart. It was amazing. Also busted out a few Rod Stewart Classics.

What kit did you use Dan? If the 350d then these are very good indeed (good anyway just more impressive if you got them outta a 350d!)

Yup I used the trusty 350D & my Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II.

These are fantastic - something we'd be very happy with if it was of our bands.
