One Underneath

These guys put together this band only one month ago, so they have only got one recorded song yet. But check out their myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/oneunderneath !

This was my first band shoot ever, and I got this pretty much exactly the way I wanted it. The only thing is the shadows in the faces of the two guys to the right. Looking forward to getting a boom arm so I can get that main light more from above the band.

Be sure to view it full size.

Please let me know what you think. This is something I want to get really good at.

Nikon D700 with Sigma 24-70 f/2.8.

Elinchrom Ranger to my left, and one Vivitar 285 at both sides behind the band.

PS! I was really drunk during this shoot!

Re: One Underneath

Cool shot, don't know whether the lacey frills work for their kind of band though!

Re: One Underneath

Agreeing about the shadows, and I'm not sure about the blond guy at the back with the tiny bit of collar obscuring his chin. However, it's an excellent shot, especially if you were drunk! ;D
