National Botanical Garden of Wales

A few shots I took there a couple of months ago...just want to see what you think of them, how they could be improved etc. Landscapes are a bit of an alien territory to me, I generally just do wildlife stuff, so all advice is extremely welcome!

Re: National Botanical Garden of Wales

I think I basically told you what I thought of these when I saw them A few tweaks here and there would sort them out - stuff like a bit of extra saturation perhaps, abit of highlight tweaking and straightening... but they are basically verygood. Favourite is still 4

Re: National Botanical Garden of Wales

So, compositionally they're ok?

What exactly is wrong exposure-wise?

Sorry for asking so many questions...I'm just desperate to know how I could improve from some of you more knowledgeable guys

Re: National Botanical Garden of Wales

I particularly like the first and fourth ones, nice composition. The walls a little dark in the first one but thats okay. Love the colours.

Re: National Botanical Garden of Wales

Thanks!

I suspect I still had the camera set for underexposing by about 0.7 of a stop, as that seems to get the best results for my bird shots with the Bigma. These were all taken with the D60 kit lens (18-55mm), so maybe I should have tried bracketing just to experiment a bit!
