Re: Sisters Pt3 (more subdue ones)

Another good set Sam

Just one observation - the two oldest ones seem to have too much make-up on.. not sure if you helped them with their make-up (some studios do) but maybe something to look out for in future?

Re: Sisters Pt3 (more subdue ones)

Greta set Sam , not that keen on the ones where they are looking upwards, and you are higher up looking down on them, it is fine for the youngest, just maybe not so flattering for the older two?

But I love the rest!

They do look like a fun trio xxx

ETA I like the processing in these! Love it, when people funk it up a little

Re: Sisters Pt3 (more subdue ones)

Yes she had alot on Azz . It didnt look too bad when she came with it on, but to photograph...well...ummm..... I did actually have baby wipes at hand....at one point i wanted to take just a little off!

I do tell people bare minimum, but you have to go with what they feel comfortable doing.. Id rather have a client be happy and relaxed, rather then tense due to not feeling like they look their best, but it is something to consider! Its like the glasses on the older girl, I asked her to remove them a couple of times for certain shots, but she was having none of it

ETA: Suzi, that angle is the only way o can get fully body shots without LOADS of editing - My roll isnt wide enough to get them all in it in the shot - if that makes sense??!! LOL

Im going to buy some brackets so i can cover the whole back wall in paper - will make things easier!

The editing is taking ages! Its about 45mins on each one!!

Thanks both again! x

Re: Sisters Pt3 (more subdue ones)

I do really like what you've done with them - they look like they weren't easy to photo well sorry if that sounds mean, I'm trying to be diplomatic!

I love the backgrounds and textures - really think they are excellent. I think looking down on them isn't overly flattering, makes them look top heavy with little legs - but I think overall they are a great set again, and the client couldn't fail to be happy with them.

Re: Sisters Pt3 (more subdue ones)

You have the 'edit' box checked, so I thought you wouldn't mind if I edited this image - I sometimes think that desaturation can really help - I find it often makes it look rather vintage, and that can help - also it helps when someone is naturally quite rosy faced, or embarrassed, or wearing too much slap!

This obv is a very quick edit - if you do mind, let me know, I'll take it down - and I have already deleted it from my PC

I understand I really do love them, and I think with the new lights, and the D700 it has really added something to your work. Not that your work wasn't fab before......; it's okay I shall shut up now(you know what I mean!)
