Very dirty Sensor

My sensor is very dirty, they are black spots and dust particles all over it, which shows up really well on pics with a lot of open space (skies etc.). I can't afford to take it to a shop to be cleaned, so does anyone know of a good sensor cleaning kit you can buy?

Thanks.
Kit 1
Nikon D40
Kit Lens 18-55 AF-S Nikor
Nikkor 28-100mm

Re: Very dirty Sensor

Sally it's just worth pointing out that the kits are expensive, involve some risk damaging the sensor, also they do not always shift stuck on bits. So you *may* have to have a professional clean anyway. We have some cameras at work that just have to go back to Nikon or an approved service dept sometimes. Wouldn't want you to find buying a kit and doing it yourself an expensive mistake by trying to save a few pounds.

Re: Very dirty Sensor

Judging by some of your photos I've seen - I would have it professionally cleaned, and then maintain it yourself thereafter.

If you want to sell your images I think this is the minimum investment you should make.
