My images for this weekend

This was a long weekend for us here in Oz. Today we went out into the country and found some lovely places. Here are two if them, Byron Creek Road:

I have a cousin in Sydney Australia, maybe you know her Tessa Holt ??? One of the reasons why I would love to visit your country, I havn't seen her now for about 45 years and have never met her children or grandchildren. If you happen to bump into her say hello for me please.

I do like your first picture,it is very like the countryside over here in the UK without the litter. It makes you want to go and see what is around the bend which creates more interest apart from just the photo itself. Keeping the overall look on the darker side together with the sun shining thru the branches for me works perfectly. Also as a bonus there is the stream which only enhances the shot.

I rarely say I like a picture, saying it too often with every photo posted sounds as if it is just a nod of approval, your first picture it ticks all the boxes for me. Well done

Lol @ Bazza - Australia is a big place, Brisbane is miles away from Sydney

Nie work Gav - I like the 2nd one best, and would consider cloning out the barbed wire

No its not its just a hop away, thats why the native animals have long back legs.

Bazza - Sydney is 14 hours drive from my place and so overtaken by other cultures that it has become a case of 'spot the Aussie'. Still,.......it might make your cousin easier to find.

Azz - I did think about cloning the wire but decided that it added to the country feel of the shot.
