Riverside walk.

I got a new lens for my A200 for my birthday (75mm-300mm), and went for a walk along the river with the missus to see how good it was.
Here are some of my first shots with it.

Re: Riverside walk.

New lens, brill, a new toy and opens up so many more possibilities! I like the dandelion shot. Only strange thing for me your pictures seem to have very strong and unnatural colours exhibiting a magenta cast on my monitor. Could be worth checking the camera settings or in processing.

Re: Riverside walk.

Like the shots but agree about the colours, particularly magenta and blue in the 2nd & 3rd shots and the first looks a little too hard (sharpened) and also seems to have an incorrect WB on my monitor which I accept is not the best. All this can be corrected in camera if you are not responsible and the shots have had no PP

Re: Riverside walk.

Hmm - I'm seeing the magenta too - though I love the dandelions.
