Moon Shot (2)
Another attempt at a moon shot this evening. This time I set the camera to manual, ISO100 and f11. Better?
Took advantage of the Jessops sale and bought a tripod half price so that has helped as well

Now that is much better look at them side by side and give yourself a pat on the back.
See what I mean when I said the improvement will be quick, very quick.
You will need your tripod to get good bird shots as well although you can get lucky with birds a tripod will increase the number of shots you will want to keep.

Agree with Snapper, there are some types of photograph that definately requires a tripod or monopod
