Which lens are you planning on getting next?

As the title says

For me, I want the Nikon AF-S 50mm f1.4 G

Ooooooh I dont know there are so many i want!

I think thought i would best get the Nikkor 70-200mm followed by an upgrade to my Sigma 24-70mm for the Nikkor version!

However, I am now ultimatly skint as ive just forked out a fortune for some new studio lights!

The Nikon primes are so nice. Looking at a 28 or 35mm myself, maybe a Tamron 17-50. Trying to get lenses generally taht have a good resale possibility or buying in ready for full frame.

I'm saving up for the 35mm f1.8 Nikon lense. I need a shorter focal length lense, the two I've got are fixed focus 55mm and 55-200 so not much scope really.

I might buy either the 2x or 1.4x extender, that way I get a whole new set of lenses

I would like to replace my only non-Canon lens (28-70 Sigma) with the canon version, but lens prices have shot up. A couple of lenses I have bought over the last couple of years have gone crazy, my 85mm F1.2 was £1400 when I bought it, it had dropped to around £1200 and now it's up to almost £1800!!. Same with the 100-400, thats gone up around £250 too!

Think I might just save some pennies, and wait for the prices to come down again, after all, the dollar is back to 1.5 (ish) and that was one of the reasons cited for the price rises (weak pound to dollar).

A company that I have used over the years is WarehouseExpress. Well they seem to have become the online version of Jessops when it comes to rip-off prices, so I will be giving them a wide berth from now on

Alan iv always found that WE compare quite favourably on more than one occassion..

Simply Electronics seem to have good prices but I get the impression they do grey imports.

I was considering a couple but have of late picked the cobwebs off a couple of my really old lens (30+ years) and I had forgotten just how good they are, so I may hold back awhile - there is a chance I may be looking at a new body first.

I can't believe how much the lenses have gone up too - 70-200 is now around £1500 !!

Try to get hold of the Nikon Kit lens Polo (18-55) it is excellent value for money!

I desperately want a Nikon 500mm f4 prime to get reeeaally sharp wildlife images.

Sadly it will take me a good couple of years to save that sort of money unless I could find one secondhand, although that would still involve lots of hard saving.
