Being For The Benefit of Mr Kite

I thought I'd share a few pics of my favourite subjects, Welsh Red Kites.

These were taken on a trip to the Feeding Station at Llanddeusant over the Easter Holidays Hope you like!

classic Red Kite images. I do like the 2nd one - its just slightly different. It would benefit from a tad more sharpening - or a slight increase in shutter speed.

But its great all the same

Thankyou!

It's taken me several visits to come up with decent shots of these birds...they're so fast!!

I got these by picking just one bird and following it like a clay pigeon shooter until the light/position was right

They were taken with the Sigma 50-500mm....handheld. The feeding station isn't that well set up for tripods.
