the hand

Hi guys,
Can someone please explain to mewhy when I turn my camera on i have a hand on the right side of my screen with a exclamation mark on the left beside it and like half a circle on the other side of the hand,

Erm interesting description Leah LOL At a guess (iv not got anything like this on mine) it could be sybolising that your shutter speed is to slow for you to take a hand held pic which will result in camera shake and picture blurring........

Do you only have it on Auto mode? Mine disappears when I use the other settings.

I have tried it on other settings but it seems to still be there.

I am hopless, once i get it sorted it's fine, then the kids touch it and god help me,

*cough cough* increase your shutter speed... slowing it will make it blurrier

One way to get rid of it is to turn the light on

Does it come on all of the time for all of the photographs no matter what the conditions?

Or is it just there some of the time?

What's the camera? Maybe someone here has the same model - tell us what you've got - and I'm sure one of us will be able to help you....
