If you adjust the levels in photoshop you could get your desired effect

Nice to see Darrieboy with you to make sure no-one tries to kid-nap you! (it is him right?!)

Really like the balance with the swan and the figure. Only thing I might be tempted to do is remove the string(?) hanging from the rail on the left.

Still a cracker though

Nice one Eileen - where were you ?

Silhouettes are one of those funny things, some 'experts' (in magazines) deem pure black to be an absolute no no whilst others will suggest selecting and darkening to purposefully generate pure black.
