Re: Sage

That's a cracking shot Bazza! Now that could easily go in AOP!

Great composition, subject has a super pose, well exposed, nice background (although I might have PP'd that overexposed bit on the right - but it's not that big a deal). Good work

Re: Sage

Azz

I deliberately havn't put it into AOP because I don't think this type of photo would suit everyone. It is the type of subject I enjoy taking because it is what I am interested in together with wildlife ,captive or otherwise. Also the last time I was encouraged to put one of my photos in, it got a fairly harsh review so I would rather post here instead.

Re: Sage

Now see Im going to disagree. I very mindful when taking pictures of dogs to portray them at their best. probably because I show dogs, but or me thats not a good picture of Sage. sage is the best Dobermann in the world for me, always will be, I love him to bits, but he looks throaty and he isnt, nd his head planes look uneven and they arent. See, just a different perspective. ! Bazza will know what I mean, but he likes to take pics in a different way to me.

Re: Sage

With all due respect this isn't in the CC or A and C section but deliberately put into general photos so comments wouldn't be made.

Re: Sage

In terms of photography tho Dawn, it's a great shot

In terms of 'showcasing Dobermans' well that's another matter altogether, and only relevant (or I guess 'important' ?) if that was the intended purpose of the shoot.

Re: Sage

Not had much to do with Dobes other than being around a few as a kid. I always liked the breed though and Sage looks a beauty. I think they're one of those breeds that look quite 'noble' when photographed. Nice shot too Bazza.
